ACT National Career Readiness Certificate

The ACT National Career Readiness Certificate, or NCRC, is a portable credential that demonstrates achievement and a certain level of workplace employability skills in applied mathematics, locating information and reading for information.

The NCRC is a credential you can take with you as you move. The certificate is the result of three WorkKeys assessments covering the areas mentioned above. The work is based on real-world situations to provide critical job skills. This website offers a link to online practice tests for the NCRC exam. The exam itself must be proctored, meaning it must be taken in person. This website also contains a list of testing centers where you can complete your exam.

Since the program started in 2006, more than 2.3 million certificates have been issued. It’s a great opportunity to show off your portable career skills. For more information on the NCRC, contact a SECO career coach by calling Military OneSource at 800-342-9647 or use the Live Chat feature on the MySECO website.
