Air Force Association

The Air Force Association is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization whose mission is to promote a dominant U.S. Air Force and a strong national defense, and to honor airmen and the Air Force heritage.

The focus of AFA is to:

  • Educate the public on the critical need for unmatched aerospace power and a technically superior workforce to ensure U.S. national security.
  • Advocate for aerospace power and STEM education.
  • Support the total Air Force family and promote aerospace education.

The Air Force Association presents scholarships and grants to Air Force active-duty, Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve service members and their dependents. They also award educator grants to promote science and math education at the elementary and secondary school level. If you are an Air Force spouse, you may also find opportunities to build your network and find mentors by becoming involved with the Air Force Association.
