Navy League of the United States

The Navy League of the United States was created to serve, support and stand with all the sea services — the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Coast Guard and U.S.-flag Merchant Marine and their families.

The Navy League of the United States is a Military Spouse Employment Partnership partner and provides Navy League members with information on spouse employment initiatives. The Navy League’s three main missions are:

  • To enhance the morale of active-duty personnel and their families
  • To inform Congress and the American public on the importance of strong sea services
  • To support youth through programs, such as the Naval Sea Cadet Corps, Junior ROTC and Young Marines that expose young people to the values of the nation’s sea services

The Navy League Foundation also provides scholarships to help defray the costs of college education for children of sea service families and the Naval Sea Cadet Corps. Currently, the foundation awards $20,000, $10,000, $2,500 and $1,000 annual scholarships.

Networking with members of the Navy League may provide Navy spouses with employment possibilities, mentors and additional knowledge about the league’s programs and services.

The Navy League of the United States is a member of the Spouse Ambassador Network, a group of organizations united to help military spouses achieve their education and career goals. Click here for a full list of Spouse Ambassador Network participating organizations.
