Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors, TAPS

The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors offers compassionate care to all those grieving the death of a loved one who served in our armed forces.

The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors, or TAPS, provides a national peer support network and access to grief resources at no cost to surviving families and loved ones.

Survivor programs include survivor seminars, retreats and peer mentors, survivors helping survivors. A TAPS survivor helpline is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week and online community support, including chat sessions and peer group forum sites are available to connect with others.

Survivor resources include grief counseling, education assistance, casework, a quarterly TAPS Magazine and a TAPS Resource Library.

Caregiver programs include TAPS peer mentor program, events and TAPS volunteer jobs, where you can gain work experience, build your credentials and support other military spouses.

The Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors Facebook page also provides information on the latest happenings in the organization.
