McDonald’s Archways to Opportunity is a comprehensive education strategy with multiple programs that give people an opportunity to grow and learn — no matter where they are on their journey. Programs are available to McDonald’s employees and the employees of participating independent franchises.

The Archways to Opportunity tuition assistance program covers eligible course expenses not covered by scholarships or grants, such as tuition and course technology fees.

  • Recipients can use McDonald’s tuition assistance if they use other forms of financial aid that must be repaid for these eligible course expenses.
  • Recipients cannot use McDonald’s tuition assistance if they receive other forms of financial aid that do not need to be repaid, such as scholarships or grants, for these eligible course expenses.

It combines supervised on-the-job training with job-related, classroom instruction to teach you the practical and theoretical aspects of a highly skilled occupation. Paid on-the-job training, sometimes referred to as “earn while you learn”, helps you gain entry into a high-wage occupation while avoiding large student debts.
